Stamped & Decorative Concrete
Get the high-end look of stone or brick with the durability and value of concrete.

Why Stamped Concrete Makes Sense for Your Property
You love the look of natural stone or brick pavers, but you don't love the high cost or constant maintenance they require. That's where stamped concrete comes in. We've been creating decorative concrete surfaces in Southaven, MS since 2024, and we've seen firsthand how it gives property owners the aesthetic they want without the drawbacks of traditional materials.
Stamped concrete lets you get that upscale appearance for a fraction of what real stone or pavers would cost. Better yet, you won't spend your weekends dealing with weeds growing between pavers, replacing individual stones that have shifted, or re-sanding joints. It's the look you want with the low maintenance you need.
How We Create Custom Concrete Designs
Stamped concrete starts with the same solid base and proper preparation you need for any concrete work. Where it gets interesting is in the finishing. While the concrete is still workable, we press texture patterns into the surface and add color to create the look you want. Here's what that process involves:
- •Pour and level the concrete just like we would for any quality installation
- •Apply color using either integral color (mixed throughout) or hardener color (applied to the surface)
- •Press texture mats into the surface to create patterns that mimic stone, brick, slate, or other materials
- •Add accent colors or antiquing agents to create depth and realistic variation
- •Cut control joints and clean the surface once it's cured enough
- •Apply a sealer to protect the color and make cleaning easier
The timing of each step matters. Stamp too early and the pattern won't hold. Wait too long and the concrete is too hard to work with. It takes experience to get it right, which is why this isn't a DIY project. We've done this enough times to know exactly when and how to work the concrete for the best results.
Your Design Options Are Almost Unlimited
The patterns and colors we can create with stamped concrete are extensive. Popular choices include ashlar stone (large rectangular stones), cobblestone (rounded stones), slate, flagstone, brick, and wood plank textures. Each pattern can be customized with different color combinations to match your home's style.
Stamped concrete works great for patios, driveways, walkways, pool decks, and any other surface where you want something special. You can even combine it with standard concrete - maybe a stamped border around a regular concrete patio, or a decorative entrance to a standard driveway.
During your free consultation, we'll show you samples of different patterns and discuss color options. We'll help you pick something that complements your home and fits your budget. Not every pattern costs the same - some are more complex to install than others, and we'll be upfront about pricing for each option.
Maintenance Is Simple
Unlike pavers that shift and need constant attention, stamped concrete stays put. Your main maintenance task is simple: sweep it off occasionally and reseal it every 2-3 years. That's it. The sealer protects the color from fading and makes the surface easier to clean. We can handle the resealing for you, or we'll show you how to do it yourself.
With proper care, stamped concrete will last just as long as regular concrete - 25-30 years or more. The color won't wash away because it's actually part of the concrete, not just painted on top. Even if the surface color fades slightly over many years, resealing with a tinted sealer can refresh the appearance.
